Join us for a long, bank holiday weekend of climbing-related fun for old and new climbers to come together as a community and enjoy the climbing of Gower, from 26 to 29 August 2022.
Base camp will be held at the beautiful Moorlakes Wood campsite where there will be space for camping, campervanning and even hammocking! We will have a variety of activities to do on site including morning yoga with yogi bach, gear demos, slacklining, campfires, discos and more! There will be free tea and coffee in the mornings (bring your own mug!) and a fully licensed bar selling a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in the evenings. Breakfast and dinner for Saturday and Sunday are also available to purchase as an add-on to your camping ticket.
During the day plenty of locals will be around to recommend the best climbing locations across the peninsula. Or if you want to learn something new, climbing instructor Matt Woodfield (from Outdoor Matters) is running courses on learning to sport climb, self-rescue and an introduction to outdoor bouldering.
The festival is entirely non-profit, organised and run by a small team of volunteers and supported by funding from the BMC. Any profits from the event will go to charity.
