East of the Bowes-Cotherstone road overlooking Deepdale.

As a result of some climbers not respecting the agreed seasonal restrictions here and also some climbers who were reported climbing at this venue during the Covid emergency lockdown, the land owners have banned climbing indefinately at this site.

Climbing at this venue is not allowed - the crag is on private land and following repeated infringements of the agreement, sadly the landowners have now made it clear that permisson for climbing here will not be granted. 

Restrictions apply from 1 January - 30 April.

Reason: Other

The previous agreement stipulated that No climbing was allowed between January & April inclusive (lambing period), but now all climbing is banned.

Great little crag, sad to hear the actions of a few have ruined the access for everyone else. Hopefully one day access can be restored.
