A quarried sport crag located very near to the railway line at the head of Chee Dale offering a collection of mid grade routes.

The landowner is not in a position to grant permission to climb. If you do decide to visit please leave the gate as you find it, do not bring dogs, and be aware you may be asked to leave – please do so politely and without complaint if asked. However, please be aware the CCTV equipment here is aimed at monitoring unapproved badger cull activity and incidental footage of climbers is not being monitored or retained.

Parking and Approach

Park at one of the parking areas around Topley Pike and find your way onto the Monsal Trail.

There is a thread on UKC about a change in ownership of this crag, and a possible change in access. Please respect the new owner until the BMC had had a chance to talk to him. He seems a reasonable guy on the thread so lets hope things can be resolved quickly!
