YHA Festival of Walking: join our BMC social walks

Posted by Emma Travers on 13/07/2022

We are excited to announce our new venture with the YHA this autumn: the YHA Festival of Walking. During the festival, our experienced BMC walk leaders will be running free, organised social walks from selected YHA locations all over the country. Tag along with us!

The YHA Festival of Walking aims to encourage walking for health and wellbeing by creating a programme of free, supported and safe-space walks for those who are interested in walking but have yet to take their first steps, haven’t walked for some time, or are looking for groups to walk with.

These curated walks will start from chosen YHA Hostels around the UK, many guided by BMC volunteers, and will take place between 4 September to 20 October 2022 with benefits galore. Throughout the festival, YHA are offering 25% off stays at selected hostels and are offering a free cuppa at the finishing point too!
