Access to Foredale threatened

The BMC recently learned that the owner of Foredale Quarry in the Yorkshire Dales is pretty cheesed-off with climber’s taking their dogs into the site.

His flock of sheep feed nearby and after being spooked, they will not enter the quarry to access their drinking water.

Result – the sheep suffer and the farmer becomes increasingly unhappy.

So, if you intend to visit Foredale please DO NOT take your dog – the agreed access is under threat.
