Results of the Open Youth Competition held at Awesome Walls Climbing Centre in Liverpool on Saturday 27 November 2010.

Saturdays competition was a great success with 110 competitors climbing for places on the British Junior Climbing Team. Competition and rivalry was high in all the categories, as well as some competition first timers putting in some excellent performances.

The atmosphere was great with the more experienced competitos helping out the first timers. But in the end it came down to 10 finalists in each category battling it out in the final on some very testing routes on the main wall at Awesome Walls Liverpool.

Full results can be seen above, and the Junior Climbing Team for 2011 will be announced shortly.

Thanks goes to the guys at Awesome Walls and V12 for providing us with prizes and a superb competition venue. The volunteers were amazing as usual, and now we can look forward to next years competitions which start early with the British Bouldering Championships at the Outdoor Show in London on the 15/16th January.
