An exciting multi-discipline format combining speed, lead and bouldering will be proposed when climbing’s bid for inclusion in the 2020 Olympic Games is made in next month’s presentation to the International Olympic Committee.

The start of the year has flown by, and activity is not about to slow down, as we have a series of new intitiatives and projects to implement in the coming months.

If you’ve never attended a BMC area meeting, why not come along to the next one in your area to get involved and have your say on local and national issues.

Join us on the Jurassic – BMC annual gathering celebrates 70 years
Come along, have your say, have a climb and have your dinner. Every year the BMC host a get-together based around its AGM. It’s a chance for members, volunteers and staff to exchange ideas, have their say in how the BMC is run and, most importantly, get out on the hills, crags and seacliffs with a great bunch of people.

Shauna Coxsey second in Millau: video replay
GB team member Shauna Coxsey took a brilliant second place at the IFSC Bouldering World Cup 2013 in Millau France. Team mate Leah Crane just missed out on getting into the final although she did make the semifinal as did Mina Leslie-Wujastyk.
