Tribute to BMC Cymru Access Rep Tom Furey

Tom Carrick, BMC Access Officer for Wales and close friend of Tom’s, pays a personal tribute to the well-loved and highly respected outdoor instructor.

Crag and Upland Restoration Fund: invitation for applications 2023
The BMC has once again set aside £10,000 per year fund to support volunteer led environmental initiatives and work days to improve crags and upland areas across England and Wales.
English Lead Championships
Following on from the success of the All Nation Bouldering Series, the English Lead Championships is the second event in the All Nation Lead Series.
Gwyl Hongian Festival
Hongian Climbing and Hill Walking Festival took part in Blaenau Ffestiniog over the last weekend in May. Celebrating the local climbing, walking, history and culture. This was the first festival of its type in the area. Cymerodd Gลตyl Dringo a Cherdded Hongian ym Mlaenau Ffestiniog dros y penwythnos diwethaf ym mis Mai. Dathlu'r dringo, cerdded, hanes a diwylliant lleol. Hon oedd yr ลตyl gyntaf o'i bath yn yr ardal.
Paraclimbing Series Round 2
The Paraclimbing Series returns for another year, starting with the Scottish Paraclimbing Festival on 5 June, followed by Round 2 in Southampton.
FREEKFEST 2022 - fun and inclusive bouldering event

The BMC Junior British Bouldering Championships took place on 21 and 22 May 2022 at Mile End Climbing Wall in London.
BMC Northumberland Youth Climbing Meet 2022

BMC Student Safety Seminar 2022
The BMC Student Safety Seminar is for any students who are involved in running a climbing, hill walking or mountaineering club at their University. The seminar will be held at Plas y Brenin in North Wales on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th October 2022.
