A pleasant dale which needs more traffic if it is to rise above its current esoteric status. The rock is variable and vegetated, with routes between 9 and 22m long at all grades. Junction Buttress, Alpha Buttress, The Enclosure and Freda's Buttress are in reasonable condition whilst Buffoon Buttress and Beltonville Buttress have been largely reclaimed by vegetation. Freda's buttress is gaining popularity as a bouldering venue.
