Beautiful area, though can be damp from seepage and sea spray, with steep grass at top which can make an extra rope from the belay (to reach directly after topping out) advisable. Some loose rock, and open mine shafts in ground on R of wire fence (the side with one wall of a ruined building). Adventure climbs up to 150ft.

Parking and Approach
Tidal in most areas.Birds -including some protected species - nest here from spring to early summer but there is no official bird ban.Approach as for Whirl Pool Buttress to the coast path: then head W for 0.25mi to a boggy area with paving stones. Follow the path down rocky steps and head for a promontory, where the multiple parts of the cliff should be visible.
