The BMC Climbing Coach Symposium is back! The BMC is excited to be hosting this years event at one of the UK’s largest and most modern indoor climbing facilities, The Depot Manchester.

We aim to create an inspiring weekend using cutting edge knowledge, research and practices, brought to you by climbing's most forward-thinking coaches from the UK and abroad.

The symposium is all about raising the bar. About sharing knowledge and learning. Our programme is flexible, allowing coaches to move fluidly between our different practical workshops, live lab and seminar sessions.

The Climbing Coach Symposium will be held at The Depot Climbing Centre, Manchester on the weekend of 22 - 23 October.

The weekend symposium costs just £120 to BMC members and £140 to non-members. The true cost is more than this, as the symposium is supported with Sport England funding received by the BMC.

Four separate one-day coach education workshops will take place in Manchester before and after the symposium delivered by GB Team Coach Ian Dunn and BMC Ambassador, Youth Officer and Mountain Training coaching scheme provider James McHaffie. Book on a workshop and the symposium to receive a £15 discount.
