BMC TV Breakfast Club: this time it’s scrambled

Posted by Alex Messenger on 08/10/2018

The word is out. BMC TV Breakfast Club is the hottest ticket at Kendal Mountain Festival. It’s almost sold out – and we haven’t even started advertising it. So don’t miss out on this eggscellent Sunday morning mash-up of Niall Grimes, BMC TV films, personalities and star climbers.

This year, Breakfast Club is back in the main 200-seater cinema screen in the Brewery Cinema. Join us at 11 on Sunday morning when Niall Grimes – climber, storyteller and mischiefmaker – will host this unique event for BMC TV.

Revive yourself with free coffee and pastries – or a cheeky Bloody Mary if that’s your bag – then sit back for a journey of discovery into game changers: people who live on the boundaries of the possible, those questing to be the one to take the next step.

This year’s line-up is a glorious feast of film and fun from the BMC, the main Kendal programme and the dark recesses of Niall’s head.  Highlights will include:

  • Steve McClure presenting a wild adventure to Inismor, off the coast of Ireland.
  • James McHaffie demonstrating the Art of Trad
  • Never-seen-before Emma Twyford footage
  • The new Hazel Findlay film
  • Filmakers Alastair Lee and Paul Diffley will be there to present their fave films
  • This year’s BMC TV Women in Adventure winner
  • New BMC President Lynn Robinson
  • Plenty of special guests (most likely kidnapped from the bar on Saturday night)

You’ll also get:

  • A BMC TV goody bag
  • Special cocktails, served by top climber Steve McClure and BMC President Lynn Robinson
  • Free entry into a raffle
  • Spot prizes
  • Guaranteed Niall Grimes humour
