Eisteddfod, Strategic Development and Walking Scheme Review

As always, we have been extremely busy since the last newsletter.

We attended the Eisteddfod in August alongside the Outdoor Partnership, BMC Cymru and Clwb Mynydda Cymru.  We are also planning to be at next year’s event.

We have significantly increased our Welsh language resources with four large roller banners and A5 flyers for our skills schemes and our scheme infographics.  Please get in touch if you would to access or borrow any of these resources.

Our bilingual Strategic Development Plan is looking great and will be available in the next few weeks.  We will use this to support our next application to Sport Wales for a Development Grant which will be submitted shortly.

I have been busy visiting many of our providers to fulfil our commitment to quality assurance.  These visits are always very enjoyable and are a great way to build relationships and share information across Wales.  A few more visits are planned before the end of the year.

The Walking Scheme Review has just started.  This is a Mountain Training global project which involves all five of our organisations.  I will keep you up to date with progress over the coming months.

If you have any questions please feel free to phone or call by the office.
