Indo-British expedition make first ascent of East Karakoram 7,000m peak

A small Indo-British team of Susan Jensen from Scotland, Divyesh and Vineeta Muni (Mumbai) and Chamonix-based mountain guide Victor Saunders has made the first ascent of Chamsen, one of few remaining previously untouched 7,000ers in India.

Catalans David Palmada and Ester Ollé recently completed a new route, Look out! Danger, on the famous formation of the Titan in the Fisher Towers. Palmada has proposed a grade of A6+ for the crux pitch.
