BMC Basecamp: 11–13 September 2026
Join us for a weekend of adventure at BMC Basecamp, right in the heart of the Peak District.
Whether you’re a climber, hill walker, mountaineer or simply love spending time outdoors, there’s something for everyone. Bring the whole family, meet up with friends, explore the Peak District and make the most of a weekend with the BMC community.
Rock up and do your own thing, or get involved in our programme of activities, from guided hill walks, social cragging and inspirational talks to ceilidh dancing, alongside plenty of opportunities to get outside. And, of course, join us as we celebrate this year’s BMC Award winners.
Joining us as a day visitor on Saturday? You can still make the most of the Basecamp experience, with full access to the programme of activities, plus the chance to sit down for an evening meal with our Basecamp community before cheering on the nominees at the BMC Award presentation.
