Thanks to your generous donations, the BMC Access & Conservation Trust are funding a two-year apprenticeship role within the National Trust path repair team in Eryri, part of the 2026 Mend Our Mountains campaign.

The British Mountaineering Council (BMC) joined a meeting of the All Party Parliamentary Group for Outdoor Recreation & Access to Nature, the APPG for Swimming and APPG for Sport & Physical Recreation to launch Reconomics 3.0 at a meeting in Westminster, on Monday 26 January.

The BMC Access & Conservation Trust are delighted to fund the first ever dedicated Wildfire Ranger for the Peak District's Eastern Moors area.

Will you join us on Tuesday 10 or Sunday 22 February to plant sphagnum moss in the Eastern Moors to restore and protect this at-risk area from wildfire?
