The BMC has created a range of climbing wall tags and posters to remind participants of some key safety messages. A range of six posters, created with our partner organisations, are available as a free customisable download. Printed posters and wooden wall tags are available for purchase.
Free Indoor Wall Safety Posters
The poster pack is free to download in PDF format with space to add your own logo before printing. Safety messaging covers the activities of bouldering, roped climbing and use of auto belays. These posters have been created in collaboration with the BMC, ABC, Climb Scotland, GB Climbing, Mountain Training and Mountaineering Ireland. They're available in A4, A3 and A2 size with six different messages:
- Brake hand low, don't let go
- Check your partner
- Climb down
- Do not walk under other climbers
- Double clip you've clipped in
- Pay attention

Wooden Climbing Wall Safety Tags
Our BMC wooden wall tags are durable and made from sustainable birch plywood. There are options for Holds May Spin message on one side, and a choice of Are You Clipped In? or Check Your Partner on the other. They are sized at 100mm x 85mm and can be fixed on the wall using 3mm wood screws. They are sold in packs of 10 costing £40 +p&p
