It is their goal to raise the profile of indoor climbing in a positive way so that everyone feels welcomed and proud to be involved. Through their efforts to improve the safety and professionalism of the industry, they aim to improve the experience of climbers and the quality of the workforce; creating habits and career pathways that keep people in the sport for life.

Sport England

Sport England is a public body and invests up to £300 million National Lottery and government money each year in projects and programmes that help people get active and play sport.

It wants everyone in England, regardless of age, background, or level of ability, to feel able to engage in sport and physical activity. That’s why a lot of its work is specifically focused on helping people who do no, or very little, physical activity and groups who are typically less active - like women, disabled people and people on lower incomes. The BMC is amongst a group of over 120 organisations working in partnership with Sport England to level up access to sport and physical activity across the country.

UK Sport

UK Sport is the nation's high performance sports agency investing in Olympic and Paralympic sport. Its mission is to work in partnership to lead sport in the UK to world class success. Primarily this means working with our partner sporting organisations to deliver medals at the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
