Have Your Say: 2025 to 2030 BMC Strategy Consultation
Since 1944, the British Mountaineering Council (BMC) has championed access and shared vital knowledge for every hill walker, climber, and mountaineer. As we celebrate 80 years of adventure, we now look towards our next chapter and are asking for your support in developing the strategy for 2025-2030.
We are seeking input from our members, volunteers, clubs, staff, athletes, parents, stakeholders, partners, indoor walls, trusts, and the extended community of climbers, hill walkers, and mountaineers.
Our survey is designed to gather your feedback on our Strategic Framework. We want to know if the work we deliver aligns with our current vision, mission, and values, as this defines our identity as an organisation.
With your help, we will explore strategic priorities for the upcoming period and determine what actions we should take to achieve our vision and mission.
The survey will close on Friday 24 January 2025 at 12-noon, we invite anyone to complete the survey and encourage you to share it with your wider networks.
Information gathered in the survey will be treated as anonymous and personal details will only be collected for entry into the optional prize draw giveaway. Your responses will feed into our strategy development work which will be presented at our Annual General Meeting in September 2025.
