Petzl recall Scorpio Eashook lanyards
Petzl have issued a recall notice for Scorpio Eashook lanyards after it was discovered that there was a risk of karabiner gate malfunction. Details are provided on how to check if your lanyard is one of those affected, and what action to take.
Petzl request users to immediately stop using the products affected by this recall. Affected products are the Scorpio Eashook lanyards, sold individually or as part of the Kit Via Ferrata Eashook as shown in the image above. This is because of the risk of karabiner gate malfunction.
Lanyards manufactured and delivered since January 1, 2021 are affected.
Stop using affected product immediately.
