About the BMC International Strategy Group
It's the role of the International Strategy Group to represent british mountaineering, climbing and ski mountaineering interests internationally actively contributing to global policies, sustainability efforts, sports development and access rights. Some projects we've completed include supporting the creation of the IFSC Europe sustainability award, bringing sustainable actions for running competitions to the forefront of event organisers in Europe.

Meet Colin Knowles - BMC delegate to the IFSC General Assembly
Colin was responsible for the creation of the IFSC Sustainability Award, which nowadays all IFSC Europe competitions must participate in. His working party then went on to develop the Sustainability Commission.
