Metolius Karabiners - Important Safety Notice

Metolius have become aware of a problem with some of the pins (rivets) on their quickdawer and X-comp karabiners.

Any karabiners received after October 2003 are suspect and must be checked. For full information see: Detailed pdf on Metolius site

Decathlon have issued a recall notice for the Simond Edge rope, the models affected are the 9mm x 80m and the 9mm x 100m. Users are requested to stop using any affected product and to return it to their nearest Decathlon store and be issued a refund.
