On Saturday the 21 September the BMC with partners and volunteers across Eryri (Snowdonia) will head up to clean a large area near the summit of Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon).

FULLY BOOKED. Join the British Mountaineering Council (BMC) this September for an extraordinary effort to clean one of the most iconic and environmentally significant locations in Wales. We will be tackling the Trinity Gullies on Clogwyn Y Garnedd, situated on the highest peak in Wales, Yr Wyddfa. Renowned as a premier winter climbing destination, these gullies are also a vital habitat for Arctic Alpine Plant species. Unfortunately, they are now threatened by waste, plastic, and pollution left behind by the over 600,000 visitors each year.

This event is run in partnership with Plantlife, Eryri National Park, Cymdeithas Eryri, RAW Adventures, Trash Free Trails, and the Snowdon Mountain Railway.
