North Wales Community Hike with AT95 | 20th June
Come join the BMC and AT95 for a day of adventure.
The BMC is the national representative body and governing body for climbers, hill walkers, and mountaineers in England and Wales. It focuses on access, environmental protection, safety, training, and competition climbing whilst representing the community's interests.
AllTerrain95 is a community founded by Kian Patel, built on a passion for the outdoors, fashion, and photography. Since lockdown, Kian has been bringing teams and communities together through outdoor experiences that challenge people physically, inspire creativity, and encourage exploration. We strive to push creative boundaries while embracing adventure, connection, and personal growth.
This walk starts with a steep ascent up to Glyder Fach via the Miner’s track. The pace will be mild allowing everyone to remain together. Nearing the top, views of the south face of Tryfan will dominate the view north. As we make our way over to Glyder Fawr which stands at 1001 metres, views of Mount Snowdon will appear. With this being a weekend walk, we should see hoards of hikers and tourists making their way up to Wales highest point. In comparison, our side of the valley should be much quieter, offering a sense of adventure and exploration. We will then return via the Cambrian Way down to Pen y Pass and back to the start point.
We look forward to welcoming you to a great day in the outdoors!
