New Southern Sandstone Crag discovered?

Posted by BMC on 16/05/2005

No, not really, but work on the High Rocks Restoration Project was completed in April, and now the crag and surrounding area look fantastic.

The project’s vision was to restore High Rocks Garden to a vista of open rock buttresses, as was the case in Victorian times, and in doing so restore the rock routes to a pleasant, climbable state. Over five months 64 volunteers spent 149 man-days on the project, not including the many meetings to keep the project on track. Thanks to all who have taken part and supported the project, and a special thanks to Graham Adcock for co-ordinating everything.
