The 2017 BMC AGM is taking place on Saturday 22 April at Plas y Brenin, the National Mountain Sports Centre in Capel Curig, north Wales. Here is how to submit a resolution or make a nomination.
How to submit a resolution
If you wish to submit a resolution for the AGM agenda, it must be submitted to the CEO in writing not less than 45 clear days before the date of the AGM and shall be signed by not less than 25 voting members as proposers of the resolution.
Failure to comply with these requirements shall render the resolution invalid.
How to make a nomination
If you wish to nominate a candidate for election to the office of President, Vice-President or Honorary Treasurer, it must be delivered to the CEO not less than 45 clear days before the date of the AGM and shall be signed by 2 voting members of the BMC.
Failure to comply with these requirements shall render the nomination invalid.
Submission deadline
Resolutions and nominations must be submitted by Wednesday 8 March.
