GB Skimo Squad announced for 2024/25 season
The British Mountaineering Council (BMC) can today announce the athletes who have been named as part of the GB Skimo Squad for the 2024/25 season.
After a competitive selection process, 19 athletes have been invited to join Great Britain’s Squad. This season will see the GB Skimo Team aim to further support the development of athletes, ensuring they are equipped to compete at ISMF (International Ski Mountaineering Federation) World Cups, the ISMF World Championship, Grand Course events, and the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games and beyond.

Andy Bryce, Chair of the BMC Skimo steering group, said: “The selection process yielded a high standard of applications, reflecting our growing talent base. I would like to thank all applicants for their time and dedication, as well as the Steering Group and Squad Management Team, without whom this squad would not be in place. Congratulations to all selected athletes, we look forward to the season ahead.”
The team will hit the slopes this weekend as the ISMF World Cup returns to Courchevel for the first time in 10 years. Catch the action between the 14th - 15th December on Eurosport, the ISMF YouTube Channel or The Olympic Channel.
