As part of our Hill Walking Webinar Series, Dr David Fong will introduce ideas of co-evolution and how complex cognitive, emotional and physical systems in the human body developed in partnership with the natural world.
This webinar will introduce the work of Miles Richardson and his team at Derby University, and the psychological benefits of Nature Connection. We will remind ourselves of the urgent need for Nature Connection in the current climate crisis and invite exploration into how all of this can be brought to bear in your roles as outdoor leaders and explorers. Our webinar speaker Dr David Fong is a Clinical Psychologist, Coach, Therapist and Hill and Moorland Leader.

This BMC webinar series is free to attend and is open to BMC members and non-members. Each webinar will last approximately 1h15m.
40 minutes for the webinar subject, 5 minutes for an update from the BMC Hill Walking Co-ordinator and a 30 minute Q+A.
