The sixth round of the IFSC Bouldering World Cup is taking place at Millhouses Park Sheffield, within the Cliffhanger event, this weekend (3 & 4 July).

The British Team are currently ranked 4th in the team rankings and are expecting good results in this, the home round.

The qualification rounds took place on Saturday and what a day it was!  Three British men qualified for the Semi-finals.  Ned Feehally in 13th place and Stew Watson and Gaz Parry both put in outstanding performances to qualify in joint 1st place!  In the women's event Shauna Coxsy qualified in 18th place, Diane Merrick in 14th place, Mina Leslie- Wujastyk and Leah Crane qualified in joint 10th place.

With the semi-finals and finals both today, Sunday, it looks like it's going to be a fantastically exciting finale.

Stewart Watson and Diane Merrick have both made it into semi finals and finals in recent bouldering World Cup rounds and with this strong GB Team, and being on home turf, here's hoping for some great results!

The event is being streamed live on the internet.
