Mehreen Goes 4 It!

Mehreen competing in the BRYCS.

Mehreen Akhtar, who last month became the first blind climber to compete in the BRYCS National Final, made it to the dizzying heights of Radio 4 last Sunday.

Mehreen and her mum were interviewed on the children’s programme ‘Go 4 It’, and Mehreen told host Barney how she discovered climbing, how she manages to climb without sight, and why she likes climbing so much.
