BMC Midlands Area Meeting
Come to our next gathering of Midlands climbers and walkers and get involved in the BMC.
The next BMC Midlands area meeting will be held on Friday 7th February. This meeting will be taking place in-person at The Regent Sports & Social Club, 102 Regent Rd, Leicester LE1 7DA.
Doors open & on street parking free from 6pm.
The meeting will start at 7:00pm.
The area meeting will be followed by a presentation straight after, from BMC patron, Mick Fowler who will be talking about; 'When It All goes wrong…..'
Area Meetings are an opportunity to meet like-minded individuals and have a say in the future of the BMC and the activities we support in your area. You'll hear updates on local issues and have the opportunity to vote on a number of matters.

Following the meeting, there will be a talk by BMC patron Mick Fowler - 'When It All goes wrong.....' be sure to come down and here about some of Mick's incredible stories and adventures!

Access Articles
The BMC has voluntary Access Representatives in all of the BMC Areas. The reps offer a first point of contact for climbers or walkers with questions about local access.

The next BMC Cymru North Wales Area Meeting will take place on Wednesday 23rd October in person, at the Beacon Climbing Centre, Caernarfon (LL55 2BD). The meeting will start at 7.30pm.

Mend Our Mountains Articles
The dramatic skyline of the Great Ridge walk connects the summits of Lose Hill and Mam Tor in Derbyshire’s Hope Valley. Heavy footfall left the path in a badly eroded state and work to repair the damage to the path started in March this year, and has seen 500 metres of the most serious damage along the path repaired to protect the surrounding landscape and bordering habitat.
