Join Brecon Beacons Climbing and Mountaineering Club for a hike in South Wales, a great place to meet like-minded people.

REGISTER FOR THE WALK

The Brecon Beacons Climbing & Mountaineering Club is a BMC affiliated club based in and around the Brecon Beacons, although some members live further afield. They are a friendly club which meets regularly for climbing and walking in the area, as well as farther afield. They are always keen to welcome new members, no matter what age, ability or level of experience, you will be assured of a warm welcome. All that is required is a love of the outdoors.

Come and join us on a hike hosted and guided by BMC South Wales Council Member, Dorian Thomas. This social walk will explore the area around Llangorse Lake including Allt yr Esgair (393m) with it’s great views and Mynydd Llangorse (506m). We will explore the fascinating ruins of Paragon Tower and delve into the history of the area from Bronze Age onwards along with myths and legends that surround the largest natural lake in South Wales. Ideal for hill walkers of all levels of fitness who are looking to understand more about this area and the BMC.
