Free Club Safeguarding Training | 10th February
This workshop is those who are involved in clubs and will cover both safeguarding for adults and for children.
The free training is for anyone on a mountaineering, climbing or hill walking club, either someone on the club committee, or the safeguarding contact or officer for the club.
The training is designed to cover:
- The basics of duty of care that the club and its members have to safeguarding
- Ensuring that clubs understand their responsibility to passing safeguarding concerns on
- Adult and child safeguarding
- What to do with low level issues
- BMC support and resources available for clubs regarding reassurance around safeguarding and inclusion
Time: 7pm to 9.30pm
