Isolation Volunteer
Purpose of this role
To ensure the safe and fair running of isolation in line with the competition rules.
Key tasks and responsibilities of the role
- Enforce any rule violations and report to the relevant person
- Coordinate athletes being ready for call zone
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of the athletes
- Coordinate toilet escorting if no toilet in isolation
More information about the role
- A DBS that is accepted by the BMC, i.e. through the BMC DBS system and is less than 3 years old or on the update service
- Up to date safeguarding training - recognised by the BMC, and less than 3 years old
- First aid qualification
- Mental health first aid
- Professionalism
- UK Coaching
- NSPCC Safeguarding Training
- BMC Safeguarding Training
At climbing competition and benchmarking events run by the BMC.
Minimum to able to commit to a morning or afternoon at a single event.
