Training for club committee members
This programme provides training, support and advice to the members and officers on club committees and is suitable for new and longer-standing committee members. These, free to attend, 'Training Days' are aimed at committee members and officers of BMC-affiliated clubs and will provide lots of information to help you in your role.

What will be covered
- Running your club - hints and tips for running an effective club
- Insurance - what the BMC combined liability insurance will cover your club, your volunteers and your members for; management of risk
- Support available from different organisations, including the BMC
- Funding - what is available and how to apply for it
- Supporting your members - both existing members and potential members
- Q&A - on any issues that your club is facing
Refreshments will be available throughout the day. Lunch will be provided

Booking is via a simple booking form. We are asking people to book on to help us with planning to ensure that we have sufficient chairs and refreshments, and to ensure that we can send you more information about the day.
There is no charge made to attend this course as part of the BMC's commitment to support the development of volunteer committee members within BMC-affiliated clubs.
