BMC Physical Training for Climbing 2
Not sure which training method to choose? Or how to fuel you body? Come along to our new workshop to learn best how to periodise your training, or those you may coach, to greatest effect.
This builds upon the BMC Physical Training for Climbing 1 workshop with the content of this second workshop exploring appropriate (and inappropriate) training methods, the training methods and design of customisable training programmes and the physiology of climbing.
In addition to this content, there will be new information on sports nutrition for climbers and methods of analysing the current and potential physical performance. This will be complimented by explanations of correct goal setting procedure.
This course will be split into 2 days covering:
1. Physiology
2. Physical training and training programme design
3. Appropriate and inappropriate training methods
At the end of the course, you will be able to analyse a client's current standard, create a plan for their future development and know how to do this safely and efficiently.
Tablets and smartphones may be useful for notes and filming purposes.
