Come to our next gathering of Midlands climbers and walkers and get involved in the BMC.

The next BMC Midlands area AGM will be held on Thursday 27th Nov. This meeting will be taking place in-person at The Red Lion, 190 All Saints Way, West Bromwich, B71 1RH

The meeting will start at 7:00pm

The area meeting will include guest speaker Rolfe Oostra.

Rolfe will share his gripping stories about climbing in the Indian Himalayas. He’ll take you to Kang Yatse 2, one of the most accessible 6000-ers on the planet. Rolfe will also talk about the rarely climbed Nun Peak, a technical 7135m Himalayan giant deep in the mountains of Zanskar. To top it off he will share tips and tricks on how to do these epic mountains yourself.

Katy Frances founder of @upcycle_kit will also be joining the meeting.

Join us for a running discussion and workshop, on repairing outdoor kit. Got a simple repair, bring it along, and depending on demand, Katy might be able to get it back 'fighting fit' there and then, or if not, show you how to tackle it yourself, afterwards.

Area Meetings are an opportunity to meet like-minded individuals and have a say in the future of the BMC and the activities we support in your area. You'll hear updates on local issues and have the opportunity to vote on a number of matters.
