Lucinda Whittaker
Paralympic Programme Manager
Lucinda role is to lead our Paralympic Programme, playing a central role in developing, shaping, managing, and delivering the paraclimbing performance programme. Working under the Head of Performance, she brings strategic oversight and deep athlete-centred insight to the programme, underpinned by her excellent communication, organisation, and planning skills. Lucinda also oversees delivery support for our winter disciplines, including Ski Mountaineering and Ice Climbing.
With over 30 years’ experience in the climbing world- including representing Great Britain internationally and holding two senior British Championship titles in Lead and Boulder, Lucinda brings a wealth of knowledge across Olympic and Paralympic performance pathways, talent development, coaching, and athlete wellbeing. Her background as a qualified teacher and experienced coach strengthens her ability to support athletes across all stages of their journey.
Still an active climber both indoors and out, Lucinda can usually be found on a wall or crag in her spare time and she makes the most of any opportunity to ski and enjoy the mountains.
