BASI BMC Travel Insurance
Insurance you can trust!
BMC Travel Insurance has been providing cover for trainee snowsports instructors for many years. We also cover recreational skiing, ski-mountaineering, touring, snowboarding and splitboarding; on or off-piste with or without a guide. Cover for race-training is included when this is part of your course. Otherwise BMC Travel Insurance excludes competitive winter sports, and unfortunately, we are unable to cover courses that include freestyle training.
Which level of cover?
BMC Travel Insurance provides cover under five different levels called Travel, Trek, Rock, Alpine & Ski and High Altitude & Remote Areas. Cover for British Association of Snowsports Instructors (BASI) courses is included in the Alpine & Ski policy which you can select at Step 1 of the online application.
Do I have to be a BMC member?
If you are not already a BMC member, you will need to join the BMC to use BMC Travel Insurance, but don’t worry you can organise your BMC membership at ‘Step 4’ of the online application.
