Roedd y cyfarfod hwn ar y cyd â Trash Free Trails ac mae'n rhan o'u Rhaglen Gwyddoniaeth i Ddinasyddion a fydd yn cyfrannu at eu Hadroddiad ‘Cyflwr Ein Llwybrau’ yn 2024. Ar gyfer hyn, bu pob gwirfoddolwr hefyd yn dadansoddi'r hyn a gasglwyd ganddynt i ddarparu mwy o wybodaeth am sut mae llygredd yn effeithio ar yr amgylchedd lleol ac ar fywyd gwyllt. Ar hyn o bryd mae Trash Free Trails yn chwilio am grwpiau i ymuno â'u rhaglen Gwyddor Dinasyddion, cliciwch yma i ddarganfod mwy, ac mae'r BMC yn gobeithio cydweithio â nhw ar y prosiect hwn ar lanhau yn y dyfodol hefyd.

Os oes unrhyw un arall yn ymweld yn fuan, byddai treulio 10 munud gyda bag bin i gael gwared ar wastraff bellach yn cael ei werthfawrogi'n fawr. Rydym yn gobeithio cynnal diwrnod tebyg gyda Chlwb Mynydda Prifysgol Caerdydd yn fuan iawn. Cysylltwch â ni os hoffech gymryd rhan mewn neu drefnu gwaith glanhau crag lleol ar gyfer eich clwb."

In association with Moors for the Future Partnership, BMC volunteers will be planting sphagnum moss in the Goyt Valley area of the Peak District, close to Buxton. Sphagnum moss is a key building block of peat and healthy blanket bog keeps the underlying peat banks safe. Sphagnum traps carbon dioxide and due to its water retention properties it also helps reduce flooding and improves water quality. Therefore protection and restoration of blanket bog is an important part of the fight against climate change.
